So far, Wales seems to have gotten away with it. I was in Cardiff last night and there was no sign anyone expected trouble - restaurants had their outside seating in place, the craft stores (little wood huts) were still open. No sign of police, either, though I'm told the night before there was a huge police presence.

The authorities seem to be assuming this is over...which seems a dangerous assumption to me, but let's hope.
