ladiesbigbang complement claims opened a few days ago, but so far there doesn't seem to be much interest. It's a real shame, and I don't say that because one of the unclaimed projects is mine. That doesn't bother me. I say it because it's a fantastic big bang and I hate to see so many intriguing looking projects neglected.

Where most big bangs match stories and artworks, ladiesbigbang matches fanworks with fanworks. Some writers submit fics (I did), but others write meta, fic recs, and other things. Projects don't even have to be written - they can be picspams or icon collections. Just about anything goes, as long as it's within the parameters of the big bang - in this case female-focussed. And a complement for a project can likewise be anything that's different from the project itself - fic+art like a traditional big bang, but also fic+meta, picspam+fic, icons+fanmix...you name it.

Claims are open to all. I would love to claim one for myself but I'm so busy this month I'm not sure I'd be able to make the deadline.
