Eight Random Facts About Me
1. On Saturday I bought all 5 Exorcist movies and all 7 Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I have no idea why; it just seemed like a good idea at the time (and they were on sale - 12 movies for less than £30). So far I have watched three of them (Oh, four if you count the original Exorcist film, but that's 'cause I watched it when researching my last fic.)
2. One of the towns that was flooded last week, Abingdon, is my birthplace. Mum and I were watching the images on the news and boy, oh, boy did it look different. And not just 'cause it was underwater. I was six when we left...
3. Our cute puppy Simba got renamed Amber (I don't think I posted about the name change, did I?). She's taller than Poppy now, though smaller in the body. She loves to dig. Our garden will never be the same again. She's also fond of tormenting Rocky - that's got to stop, but damned if I know how.
4. I am addicted to audio books on my ipod. Podiobooks is my new favourite website ever!
5. I still can't watch all of Crossroad Blues. I've tried several times since getting my DVDs and I always bail before Act 4. Once was enough...I just can't go there. It makes me wonder if I'll be able to bear watching SPN at all next season. I guess it's proof that the show is bloody good, but in this case, maybe too much with the angst.
6. One of the pictures on the wall above my PC is a photomanipgarretsuze61 made for me many years ago. It's called "Love Bugs" and has a photo inset of just the ass and legs of two very buff guys, all tangled up like they've just been fucking, and a couple of cartoon ladybugs cuddling on a tree. Weirdly, I am very fond of this picture.
7. When I put iTunes on "shuffle" it never plays anything but a-ha. I don't have a problem with this, but I'd love to know how my iTunes got so clever!
8. There's a guy in work I have lunch with regularly. Though I have explained that he's gay and so am I, a certain other person at work insists on believing we're dating. Can straight people really not have lunch without it being sexual?
