i really, really like the way you've teased out the dynamics of the three, and the way it's sam who really does the negotiation and makes the connection between the other two (physically as well as emotionally). i like that there's some believeable set-up to the sexing, and that al the characters are likeable and real in their reactions, fears, desires, etc.
