AI and Sticky Toffee pudding

I managed to go nearly 2 months without recording a headache or migraine and now I’ve got one that’s lasted two days. This is day 3. It’s not bad - I’m basically at a 3, where my usual migraines are a 7 - but it won’t go away. It’s getting me down.

I have this AI art program on my iPad which I play with quite a lot, and they recently added an avatar function. You load in a photo of someone, give it a prompt and it turns the photo into a portrait. So see the icon on this post - that’s supposedly me as a witch. I actually tried hard to get an ugly old crone out of it but the damn thing refuses to be unflattering. Apparently it’s convinced I want to be an anime character or a fairy - every time it gives me huge eyes and a pointy chin. But it’s kind of fun. Eventually I’ll figure out how to get it to make me look a bit more like me.

It was Mum’s birthday last week: she’s 83. On the theory that putting that many candles on a cake would likely burn the house down, I instead made a sticky toffee pudding. It’s one of Mum’s favourites. You have to soak the fruit overnight and I figured, it’s for a birthday, so I used rum instead of tea. It seemed like a good idea until I tasted it. I mean, it was okay - Mum liked it. But it was closer to sticky mince pie pudding than sticky toffee. Next time will use tea and just a splash of the rum.

I must post the next chapter of Revolution today. It’s done; I just have to get ‘round to posting.
