Oh, a fantastic update to the series. John and Sam's reasonings for the sex rang very true to character, as well as their hunt-based interactions. The thought of Sam going back and seeing old fellow apartment dwellers, bringing the hunt to them, in a sense, was almost heartbreaking -- not the way you treated it, as such, but the way's you didn't, having him swallow all of the emotions down to focus on the research, the information-gathering. Brava.
