Oh, this is very intriguing. I love the part about the visions, because it gives the story a certain inevitability, yet at the same times doesn't exactly tell me how the pieces are going to fall into place - really, it's keeping me hooked, just guessing how and why this is going to play out.
And I like how you're handling John and Sam, this line especially rang true, because it describes them so well: Everything - work, play or love - was always like this between them. A fight for dominance. And really, now that they're not having sex because they're compelled to but because they actually choose to, well that brings in a whole lot more interesting, fucked up psychology to play with. I love this series :)
