Just read both chapters back-to-back, and I'm definitely hooked. You've done a great job capturing the Winchester family dynamics, particularly the way they all care so deeply about each other even when they don't really understand each other. And the case looks like it's going to be nice and creepy; haunted carnivals is one of my favorite horror tropes and I look forward to seeing what you do with it.
