She kidnapped Elizabeth? Oh for gods sake, so realism doesn't come into this at all then! I have to admit, I'm disapointed just because it is my favorite of PG's books and as far as history goes I'm utterly fasinated with Anne. Oh well, I'll just stick to waiting for my copy of the BBC one to arrive!
The Boleyn Inheritance is really good but PG does a little bit of backtracking on a couple of points which I'll let you discover for yourself!
Also sometimes I found the shifts in POV through me out of the story a bit but not enough that I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm also reading one on Anne at the moment where it's based after she's died and she has to learn how to forgive Henry whom she's loved through several lifetimes, it's really interesting! Although really, I do need to stop buying books about Anne, they make up about half of the pile by my bed right now!
