It's always a feeling of accomplishment get a somewhat finished version of work, even if there is lots of editing still to be done.

Absolutely. In this case I've been rushing to get the story finished before season-end. Not because I'm in a hurry to post, but because I know more canon would change the story. Now I'm done and I can enjoy the new episodes like a proper fan :-)

Maybe I'll even get inspired to write down the things that run around in my head.
