Thought for the day

Winston Churchill first ran for election to the House of Commons in 1900.

During that election, he was canvassing door to door when he came to the home of a grouchy man who said, "Vote for you, Churchill? Why I'd rather vote for the Devil!"

"I understand," replied Churchill, "But in case your friend is not running, can I count on your support?"
