Perfect timing! I've been thinking about what a beta is these days since I read something last night that claimed to have a beta, yet suddenly switched tense halfway through the fic. It had been quite good up till then, quite hot, but that threw me and the standard overall went down to the extent I felt like the fic had been written by two different people!

I think we need some sort of beta education day *g*
