briarwood: Sentinel: "I must not put salt in Jim's coffee." (TS Blair Salt)

I think senility is finally setting in...

So, this morning I turned on the laptop to check my email as usual. I use gmail, so I can access my mail from anywhere. There's an email I've been waiting for...and it wasn't there.

I then turned on the other PC so I could check whether it was on that one.

*headdesk*

Aww...everyone has senile moments. Hopefully, they just stay as few and far between.

*grins*

I know, but it's such a stupid thing to do. I check my email more automatically than I get dressed - it's just the first thing I do every day. So I turn on the laptop, do my thing, and I'm halfway across the room on my way to the bathroom when my brain pipes up "maybe you'll have better luck on the other PC". And I actually tried it!

I still can't believe I did that.

Maybe your brain is mocking you!

LOL - it was early... you have to give your brain time to launch. That's what I tell myself anyway!

Well...true, but I'm normally a morning person. Up with the lark and irritated because everyone else is still asleep.
