Thanks to everyone for the get-well wishes over the weekend.

I am improving, slowly. I returned to work today, though my voice is pretty non-existent at the moment. Perhaps I shouldn't have, as I literally fell asleep at my desk mid-morning: a combination of pain killers and lack of sleep (this tonsilitis has my throat so swollen I think it's cutting off my air when I sleep - so I wake up again and again). Fortunately no one admitted to noticing, and I had caffeine for with lunch so I was okay for the afternoon.

Sis is away for a week...unfortunately she did not take the Useless Boyfriend with her. Still, it's some relief not to be fighting over the kitchen come supper time. Sis raided my DVD collection before she left - it's fine, I said she could - but I'm weirded out by her choice of films. She took a few horror/thriller movies, but she also seems to have taken Better Than Chocolate. I wonder if she realises what it's about? (This is the gal who took her homophobic boyfriend to see Brokeback Mountain because it was billed as a love story and it never occurred to her there were two guys on the poster for a reason.) Maybe she was looking for Chocolat and got confused, LOL!

I'm reading the con reports from the Australia SPN con - and I'm really beginning to dread Asylum this year. You know, in a good way, but still...

Do we have new SPN this week? I'm losing track.

I really think it's time I changed my username. I've been "morgan32" since the early days of HTLJ fandom. And a few too many RL folks know it. I'll have to keep morgan in there somewhere, but I definitely need a change. Any suggestions?

As for a new username, how about Morgana or Morgan Le Fey or something like that? Somehow, that's how I see you - powerful and feminine.

That's a nice idea, but I think too many people know me as Morgan - at cons a lot of people just use that as my name. That's why I need to keep it in there if I can.

We will. I'm sure it'll be fine, I've never been to a con where there isn't a certain amount of hanging around (even when I'm crewing. ;p)

What I want is morgan_briarwood but that's 16 characters and it doesn't work for me without the space in the middle. Briarwood is from the Black Jewels Trilogy - my favourite fantasy 'verse since I discovered it. The connotation suits me, too.
