LOL! It's on my right forearm, just above the wrist.
As for what - it's red and black, kind of tribal-ish. My own design. (It started as a Klingon weapon and I sorta kept adding bits until it looked cool.) I'll take a photo for you when it's healed up a little :-)
I think stupid rather than brave. It's my second tat: the first one I had Sis standing over me so I had to pretend like it didn't hurt. (Though I honestly don't remember it being painful last time. Different place, different nerve endings, maybe.)
I don't care. It won't hurt more than a day or two and it looks really cool! And I can see this one! (That first one is on the back of my neck - it looks great but I can't see it.)
Oh, but it's so worth it! I think so, anyway. I got all the usual lectures from my mum about it when I was a kid: it's dangerous, it hurts worse than a burn (not true), what if you change your mind later....
I sure HOPE you love them, since you just got another one! *g*
WAY back in 1968 when I finally got my ears pierced, if it had been the fashion to have ONE ear pierced, I would've left after the first hole, it hurt so damned much. And bled.
My friend had a tattoo done for a recent milestone birthday. Chinese symbols on her arm. It looks nice and I am kind of tempted, but I have a low pain threshold so will probably never, ever take the plunge.
I've never regretted the first one, and I won't regret this one, either. "No pain, no gain", I guess.
Everyone's different. When I had my first tat I thought the pain thing had been seriously exaggerated, because getting it done didn't hurt that much. But this time...well, I think it's the place I chose: there's more nerve endings there.

LOL - I was on the verge of requesting a photo and then thought better - it might have been someplace hard to reach!
Hope the pain fades soon... and boy are you ever braver than me *hg*

'Tis a bit better this morning.
