If it keeps you writing TS longer I would say forego Supernatural altogether, but that's just me being selfish. :D

SPN doesn't stop my writing TS; it just messes up Blair's voice in my head. It's a vernacular thing: Blair, as you know has a very distinctive way of speaking. The vernacular in SPN is just similar enough that if I try to write Blair when I've been watching SPN, he ends up talking like Dean. Which is so, so wrong.

I do believe that, due to the health problems associated with asbestos, a special licence issued by the Government - by the Enviromental Health Department - is required.

Yes, you're probably right. The choice was all made by the insurance company anyhow. It's not the lack of choice but the timing that bothers me. I mean, asbestos is supposed to be dangerous, isn't it? The insurance folks even told us we shouldn't go into the kitchen until the ceiling is fixed (which with the layout of our house is impossible anyway) and we've been waiting since before Christmas for a date for this job to be done.

I'm not worried about the danger part - if there's enough asbestos in there to cause a health issue it's already too late for me: I've lived in that house since I was six and the ceiling's been buggered for years - it's just this last disaster finally prompted Mum to get it looked at. It's just that, if these people believe there's a danger, what's taking so frakking long?

Sorry. Didn't mean to rant...
