Midnight of the Century art post

This is the artwork I created for [livejournal.com profile] glasslogic's fic Midnight of the Century in [info]sncross_bigbang.

The story is a Supernatural/Millennium crossover, and it's really good :) Check it out!

The words in each image are based on the opening titles of Millennium: the season one titles showed some subtlely disturbing images with apparently random words overlaid: wait, worry, who cares. It did a great job of creating a tense atmosphere for a show that was, in its first season, the most frightening show on TV. I hoped to create something of the same tension in my art, but focussing on the Supernatural characters.

The images you see below are thumbnail crops: click each one for the full-sized image. Each banner is 900 x 555 pixels.

What a great art set!!!!! I managed to somehow miss this series by glasslogic and now I'm seeing this amazing art for the first time. I love all the layering and texture, so much detail. You really knocked it out of the park on this set.
