Our wonderful next door neighbours appear to have bought a piano. Or a keyboard that sounds like one through the walls.

You know what's not-fun? Listening to someone play Men of Harlech thirty times, and hitting the same freaking wrong note in the same place every single time.

Don't get me wrong; I can't even play chopsticks and whoever's playing is pretty good. But I wish she/he would play something I don't know, so I won't notice the mistakes!

I can play the keyboard a little, so I can say if they have one they can plug in headphones so only they can hear it. (Pianos have pedals that can mute the vibrations so it won't be so loud.) You could try being 'friendly neighbour' and asking them to try my suggestions. If they knew it was bothering you they might try to keep it down. (Being 'friendly neighbour' always works for me...unless they're just an a**hole)

Oh, we get along fairly well, and they put up with our noisy dogs, so I guess we're even. If it goes on past tonight I'll have a quiet word with them.
