Weather!

Oh, boy, the gods really didn't want me to reach work today. The rain is as heavy as it's ever been and I had the wind in my face all the way. Days like this I start seriously considering learning to drive.

(But then, how many days like this do we get? I don't need a car. Not really.)

So, I made it in. I look like a drowned rat and I don't know how long it's gonna take for my trousers to dry out but...it's warm and dry in here. Gods, that wind is loud?

Are we sure this isn't a hurricane?

I have the joy of the bridge to do yet. Something tells me there will be no casual driving with one hand on the steering wheel this morning!

Oh, gosh, yes. Crossing the bridge in this weather must be scary.

I'm pining for Liverpool, I think. I keep thinking how great it would be to take the Mersy Ferry to work when the weather's this wild. I loved it.
