I don't know. It's hard to define. I just need something I can connect with. A vulnerability. Intellect. Values I share. Something.

I have a tough time with cop shows in general. Procedurals leave me cold. The character setup for McGarret in the H50 pilot would normally be perfect for me - dead father or daddy issues - but he just totally turns me off. Which would be okay if I connected with the other lead.

Hell, I'm only three episodes in. Maybe I'll get there when the show settles in a bit. I've got the whole season, so there's time.
