I really wish JJ Abrams would stick to TV. I adored Alias.

Here's the thing: with Star Trek I felt like he made a brilliant movie that entirely missed the spirit of what Star Trek is.

With Star Wars, he managed to reverse that. Well, it's an average movie, but it's definitely a Star Wars movie.

We haven't seen it yet, although reports from my son's peer group are positive. Of course, I may have a different viewpoint.

I didn't mind the first AOS movie, even quite liked it, but the second one moved me to active irritation and a desire to thoroughly revisit TOS.
