I was going to post about Supernatural, but something even more interesting just popped into my inbox.

Empire reports on chances for a Serenity sequel! (Note: the article contains *that* spoiler for the original Serenity movie. Just in case there's anyone who ain't seen it yet.)

One question that the article asks is why the rumour is coming from Alan Tudyk, as they assume his character wouldn't be returning for a sequel. But I remember Joss specifically said that he couldn't imagine making more Serenity without Book and Wash, so it does make sense that if there were a chance, he'd be in the loop. Alan Tudyk and Nathan are the ones making movies right now: if there were some attempt to get the cast back together they (and Summer Glau) would be most likely to hear about it first because they'd need the space in their schedules.

I've been hearing other hopeful rumours, too, since earlier this year but those are utterly unsubstantiated so I'll not repeat them.

Here's hoping!

Hmm - if he came back, it'd have to be very well done. I was absolutely gutted when he died but I don't want it whitewashed out if he came back.
