I have actual SPN meta that I want to post this weekend (if I can finish it, please let me have time to finish it!) but I simply must say that this latest episode...
That last scene: was totally symbolic sex. Seriously.
I am not one to go overboard on the subtext in my shows: I like my canon and fanfic separate. The scenes everyone squees over in Playthings and Tall Tales - yes, they're fun, but they're not slash to me.
Dean wanting Sam's hands on his car and showing him how - now that is my canon slash.
And the witch is dead! Finally! Yay!

Oh, I hate Gordon. And not in a love-to-hate-him way. I just hate him.
It was like the entire writing staff of SPN waving a flag saying "I'm a racist, ask me how!"
So very, very glad he's gone.

I never took him that way, but as a character? I couldn't stand him. And there's very very few characters I feel that strongly about.
