Random word-pictures

Outside my office window right now, the sun is coming up. A few minutes ago it was raining heavily; now the sky above us is clear and blue but I'm looking at it through windows streaked with rain. The sun, just peeking over the trees bathes the building next-door in light, turning the grey walls pink and orange and gilding the one window where someone has forgotten to take down their Christmas decorations.

These are two of the ugliest buildings in the city, but just occasionally, just for a few seconds, the sight can be truly gorgeous.

And in the minute it took me to type this, 'tis all gone and the clouds are hiding the sun again.

Lovely! This time of year, we just have to grab the moments in between *g*

Lovely. If you tried to take a photo it would never live up to the words you gave us and the experience memory you have.
Thank you for sharing. It's been a while since we've seen the sun too.
I gotta get my decorations put away.*g*

Oh, a photo wouldn't capture it at all!

Just every now and then, I see something I've got to share, you know?

Every once in a great while the sun touches the unattractive with a deceptive glow and for those few seconds the plain can be granted the delusion of pretty, but then I must wake up to the grey pockmarked stoneface of reality...

*le sigh*
