briarwood: Sentinel: My Kind of Justice (TS Justice)

Prompt me!

Do you know how long it's been since I posted a Sentinel fic?

Too darn long. It's more than a year and that's just wrong. I've got a couple of half-written bits and pieces that never went anywhere and that's it.

I miss Jim and Blair.

If you would like to give me a prompt for a TS fic, please comment. No limits - post as many prompts as you like. But I need an actual prompt - a phrase or an image or a plot suggestion that'll inspire me. Not just "H/C" or whatever.

You can specify whether you'd like slash or gen if you want to.

I do not promise to write a fic for every prompt, but I will try.

I have this image of Jim as car mechanic stuck in my head, which came out of nowhere. Slash, gen, PWP, AU, I have no idea! Just Jim in greasy overalls, with a car wrench in his hand. I know you don't drive, so I wouldn't expect any actual mechanical details, but I'd like to see what you could perhaps do with that?

LOL! I can do the mechanical details...just can't swear they'll be right!

Yeah, I think maybe I can do something with that. Thanks!

Great, glad you found it helpful. Enjoy!

In Sentinel, too 2, Jim dismiss quickly the shared vision. Blair is quite used to Jim refusal to discus that "mumbo-jumbo", but, this time he feels hurt, because he's sure the animals spirits merging together has a big significance in their lifes. So, this time he takes this as a rejection. Now, I want to know what happens =D
And, of course, I'm hinting slash here, but I also read gen, so...

[identity profile] morgan32.livejournal.com 2008-07-21 12:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. I can maybe write something about the vision and Jim not wanting to talk about it. But you know I don't do "Guide" fic, right?

I'll see what I can come up with.

Oh, yes! I wasn't talking about Guide stuff!
What I meant (and I'm sorry I didn't express myself clearly) was that Blair feels rejected personally, he feels Jim is not willing to be so clse to him. And he fears for their friendship.

That's fine. I understood you; just wanted to make sure we're on the same page :-)

Oooh, this is too good to pass up.

Hm.

In it, just around it, morning after, whatever. That I'm easy with. ;-)

Ooh, pretty! And water (you know me too well).

*g*

Who me? *polishes halo*

Maybe a story that shows Jim at Rainer: solving a case, auditing a class, hanging out with Blair. In Smart Alec he seemed very familiar with Blair's office. Of course, this is Jim and Blair, so havoc will probably result.

Sounds interesting. Might end up being sex-among-the-artefacts, but I reckon I can come up with something... :-)

[identity profile] mab-browne.livejournal.com 2008-07-21 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I seem to have a minor kink for arguments - the noisier and snarkier the better. Whether it's a blow up over not using the spray or something deeper and angstier...

[identity profile] morgan32.livejournal.com 2008-07-22 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. I'm actually not good at writing fights. The aftermath I can do, but I'm not sure I'd be able to write the actual argument. I'll give it some thought, see what occurs.

Thanks!

No prompt from me... just the sound of me rubbing my greedy little paws together at the thought of you writing Jim & Blair again *g*

I have about 20 Sentinel plot bunnies stored here (http://www.google.com/notebook/public/13155626988396350687/BDQlBIgoQoJPfgN4i#SDQlBIgoQscaGhd4i). You are welcome to adopt any of them that inspire you.

Jim goes missing, gets struck with amnesia. Ends up in different city. Has forgotten that he is a Sentinel but finds that he has a gun with him and jumps to some wrong conclusions.

Blair is about to tear the world apart looking for him, but his mother has gotten herself in with the wrong crowd (wow, that's different!;-)) and also goes missing whilst on a pilgrimage to (? - your choice of location, but these guys are probably cultists).

Who does Blair make his priority?

What happens next? Involve anyone you want from the Precinct.
