Adventures in Chai Latte :-)
I have discovered the following:
Does Costa serve Chai Latte? If they do I must check out their version next time I'm in Cardiff. So far Cafe Nero remains my favourite, though the extra spice in the Starbucks is gonna be great when the weather turns cold.
I decided to deny myself the cinema this weekend to try to break the back of this writers' block. So far I've spent the entire morning procrastinating. Someone needs to smack me upside the head.
- Starbucks Chai latte is much spicier than the Cafe Nero version.
- Both taste better with nutmeg sprinkles instead of cinnamon.
- The Cafe Nero version is equally good with skimmed milk or whole milk. This is not true of the Starbucks version.
- The DrinkMe instant Chai latte sold in Tesco is tasty enough, but there's no comparison, really.
- Twinings Chai is good, but I can't get it to taste the same. Not even if I steam the milk.

Spiced tea with foamed milk, usually served with cinnamon sprinkled on top (like the chocolate on a cappuccino). I could be mistaken, but I think it's Russian, originally.
I ordered chai latte instead of coffee a couple of weeks back because I was fighting a migraine and didn't want too much caffeine. I am now utterly addicted.

Six or seven weeks, I think, though I tried the Tesco version ages ago. I just got addicted really fast!
