Reasons I should be happy today

I had an...irritating day at work. But when I got home I found:

• The Dark Knight on Blu-ray DVD


• The latest Supernatural magazine, and


• Dead Until Dark from Amazon

all waiting for me.

I know what I'm doing this evening :-)

I have today posted all my holiday cards. If you haven't requested a card from me and you want one, please comment on this post. (Just for the record, I don't expect a card in return; it's always welcome, but never required. If we're friends, I'd like to send you a card.) Having said that, if you're not in the UK, I can't promise you'll get a card before Christmas! (Unless it's one I mailed today.)

Wait. Don't. LOL I'm avoiding the Sookie books becaused she annoys me so much, I don't think I could deal with a whole book in her POV. Let me know how you do with it, though? I might reconsider since we usually like much of the same fiction.

It's the book True Blood was based on; I didn't want to read it until I'd seen all of the series. The series was okay; parts of it I seriously disliked, parts of it I loved, most was good-but-not-great. But I wanna read the book now!
