I have the beta back for my John/Dean fic, so I can post it tonight!

In the meantime, following on from my posts about the Atheist Bus...Andrew Brown of the Guardian posted the full text of the complaint sent to the ASA. It's freaking hilarious!

What's scary is that, among other things, the complaint quotes Stephen Hawking's work as evidence of God's existence. I suspect the great man would have something to say about their total inability to understand his words, even in plain English.

'Ouch!'

That was what I found myself saying over and over with him misunderstanding and misinterpreting fairly basic science left, right and centre. I confess I didn't even get to the end of the article/text before I got bored.

Fiction should be interesting and fun to read, yes?! :P

Exactly!

In the comments to the article, someone pointed out that every prominent scientist quoted in the complaint, with perhaps one exception, is an atheist. Says it all, really, doesn't it. (I note they didn't have the gall to misquote Dawkins.)

Pity the ASA if they decide to rule on this complaint!

I just snagged the graphic from the website. I figured if I'm gonna keep posting about this, I should have the icon.

This is so far beyond the realms of believability, it's crazy. Can this author really be so narrow minded as to believe what he's saying?? Poor fool!
