Review: Cloverfield

It's a bad sign when I leave the movie theatre still thinking about the trailers.

Oh, those movie trailers? They showed a trailer for the new Rambo film (isn't Sly getting a little old for that role?) Anyhow, the trailer opens with a man holding a rosary - you don't see his face - and then the voiceover says something about a soldier without a country. Weird how fast I flashed on John Winchester, isn't it?

Writing update

Word count on my Sweet Charity fic: 3200 words so far.

The story is going to need some major re-working as I keep changing my mind as I go along in this first draft. And I'm gonna need to be seriously careful that the dreaded zombie hand of Rob Lowe doesn't make an appearance. The nature of this fic, with one character being unable to see most of the time, makes it all too easy to slip into zombie mode. But it's looking good so far.

I haven't done much more work on my John Winchester fic, but it does now have a working title: Never Say Die.
