Working on a new (old) fic

I dug the Dreamwalker sequel out of my WIP file and somehow ended up with several thousand words. It feels like I did that without even trying, but that's not really true; it's just that this story has been in my mind for so long most of the thinky-hard-work is already done. The central "case" I had figured out ages ago but it took me forever to figure out how the boys would solve the problem. Now I know that I can concentrate on the angsty stuff :-)

I'm a little in love with this AU 'verse; I really wish I hadn't killed John 'cause he'd fit so well into the sequel, but needs must. As tempting as it is, I will not resurrect him; that implausibility would spoil things. Where did Jo come from? She's not supposed to exist in this 'verse...ah, but I needed a het sex scene for Dean and I'd rather use a canon character than create an OC; Jo's the only female hunter I have. No demons allowed in this 'verse (at least not "on stage") or I might have gone for Dean/Ruby.

Wonder if I can use Bobby in this fic? Could be fun...
