I won't go into the reasons, but a colleague needed a photograph of me. It had to be about a year old so whipping out a digital camera wasn't an option for this purpose. I'm not a big fan of being photographed, so I knew this would be a challenge. Finally, I told her she'd have to pick one of my convention photos and crop it. This at least has the advantage that they're professional shoots, so they're good quality pics, not snapshots.
So, today, I took my con album along for her to pick a photograph. I told her it was my convention pics, though admittedly without explaining what that means. But the album has photoshoots, official pics and autographed pics, so I kinda thought it'd be obvious.
When she returned the book to me, she told me I had a very good looking family! OMG, I wish!
