I should have posted the next chapter of Revolution yesterday; I was busy writing and forgot. I’ll do it later!
I finished my first draft of chapter 8. That was the hardest one to write as it’s the big battle scenes and I really struggle with writing action. But it’s now complete and I can start on the next one.
I tentatively started a new Sentinel story. Not sure if this will go anywhere yet, but I have a premise that I haven’t seen anyone do before (not saying it’s never been done - I’m pretty sure there are no original ideas left in TS fandom - just that I’ve never seen it). Lots of details to figure out before I can post anything…and given the theme I might save it for next Christmas! We’ll see.
Speaking of Christmas, I have no idea what to buy for my Mum. She’s impossible to buy for. She’ll list movies she wants on DVD and then never watches them. She doesn’t read. She has no hobbies. She used to love shopping for clothes (and pretty much keeps the local charity shops in business with stuff she’s bought and never worn) but can’t even do that now because the big local stores are closed and online just isn’t the same. I have no idea what to do.
Most all the rest of my shopping is done. I just need to mail my gift to my friends in Buxton and I’m sorted. Which isn’t me being super-organised, just a reflection of how few people I’m on gifting terms with. Which is not a bad thing.
