I haven’t been reading or posting because I’ve been dealing with some personal shit.
After having surgery last year, Mum was back in hospital with liver problems. Could be related to the previous issue but could be something much more serious…we won’t know for a while. I love the NHS - it’s certainly better than the alternative - but they are fucking slow.
But I’m also busy writing. Losing myself in fic helps me cope.
This follow up to Revolution has caught me in a big way. I’m actually not sure it’s good… but it’s getting written anyway. Going in a direction I didn’t expect (it’s either an awesome twist or a canon-defiance I won’t get away with) and I’m not quite sure where we will end up yet. I can’t start posting until I know the end, but so far I have 18,000 words.
Sometimes when a story won’t let go like this it turns out great. But I’ve had this happen a couple of times when the result has been utter crap. So, who knows?
Not sharing plot yet, but the title is Sanctuary.
And if this does end up being good, there will be a third in the series.
