Amber returned to the vet again today. She is, according to him, still running a high fever, but she's off those awful steroids now. She's still got some antibiotics to take; I can't really argue that, given the fever, and something else that's...well, Rocky takes it as a painkiller but I'm guessing it's the canine version of paracetamol as the vet said it should bring her fever down.
But the good news is she seems much better. She's got a lot more energy, she's playing again (actually, I'm wondering if there was testosterone in that painkiller, given the way she was playing...but 'nuff said about that). I still want to strangle that idjit vet for making her sick in the first place, but the worst seems to be over.
[In other not-news, I've got some stuff I need to get done this week so I probably won't be around much. I still read my flist; I can do that from work, but I don't think I'll be posting. If anyone wants to get hold of me, email is best. Or phone, for those who have my mobile number :-)]
