Good news and bad...

Writing is really hard for me lately. I got the prompt of my dreams from marishna in her picture challenge, but the story just isn't happening. I got partway into it, but am nowhere near the end. I just don't know what's wrong. I spent much of the weekend watching Sentinel to try to jog my brain, and it didn't help.

In this case it won't be too bad if I have to skip out on the challenge, or submit late, as it's not an exchange, but if my inspiration stays like this I'll have to forget my plan to take part in Yuletide or any other secret santa this year. Which is not good. I have some issues with fic exchanges, but I usually enjoy the writing part.

Yeah, I'm still in the dark place. I think I'm starting to like it here.

In other news, occasionally living in South Wales is cool. On Thursday last week they were filming Torchwood literally less than a mile from my home. Like, had I not been in work, I could have watched the filming from my bedroom window! I don't know the episode yet, but apparently it will be broadcast in March.

Now, I'm not a fan of Torchwood, but even so...that's kinda cool.
